Rajasthan as a tourist destination is unequalled in the country for its heritage buildings, Palaces, Forts, Culture, Safaris, Sand Dunes, Music, Dance and lush green forests with its wildlife. Rajasthan is the largest state in India in terms of area. It borders with Pakistan in the west, Gujarat in the southwest, Madhya Pradesh in the southeast, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana in the northeast and Punjab in the north. Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan. It has one of the world's oldest mountain ranges "Aravalli Ranges" and Mount Abu is the famous hill station in Rajasthan. Ranthambore and Sariska are the two important national tiger reserves in eastern Rajasthan.
It also has a bird sanctuary at Bharathpur called "Keoladeo National Park", which attracts nature lovers all over the world.
Rajasthan was earlier called as Rajputana (state of Rajputs). Rajput literally means "Son Of Kings" Though Rajasthan's history dates back to few thousand years it came to the limelight with the rise of Rajputs in the 9th and 10th century. Prithviraj Chauhan and Rana Pratap were the celebrated kings of Rajasthan.
Rajasthan's economy is primarily agriculture based and it is the largest producer of Polyester fiber in India. Tourism is flourishing in Rajasthan and it attracts millions of foreign tourists around the year.
Day 01 :Arrival at Delhi Airport. Meeting & assistance and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi - Jaipur
After breakfast proceed to Jaipur (260 kms/5.5 hrs) to visit Amber Fort - The ancient Capital of the state until 1728. Ascend the hill, on which the fort is situated on Elephant back. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03 : Jaipur
After breakfast enjoy the city tour of Jaipur covering City Palace, an overwhelming complex of exquisite palaces, gardens and courtyards. Later visit Janthar Manthar, the largest and oldest observatory with the largest sundial in the world built of sandstone and Hawa Mahal, popularly known as the Palace of Winds. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04 : Jaipur - Bikaner
After breakfast proceed to Bikaner and upon arrival visit Karni Mata Temple, Junagarh Fort and City. Junagarh Fort was built between 1587 and 1593, during the rule of Rai Singh and later rulers added their own palatial suites, temples etc. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05 : Bikaner - Jaisalmer
After breakfast proceed to Jaisalmer (330 kms / 8 hrs) and upon arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 06 : Jaisalmer
After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing of Jaisalmer covering Jaisalmer Fort and City. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 07 : Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
After breakfast proceed to Jodhpur (308 kms / 7 hrs) and upon arrival transfer to hotel. Later visit Meherangarh Fort including Jhanki Mahal "Queen's Palace", Moti Mahal "Pearl Palace" and Phool Mahal "Flower Palace". Later visit Jaswant Thanda, a marble pillared memorial of Jaswanth Singh II built in 1899. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 08 : Jodhpur - Udaipur
After breakfast proceed to Udaipur (260 kms / 7 hrs). Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 09 : Udaipur
After breakfast proceed for the local sight seeing of Udaipur covering City Palace, Jagadish Temple, Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk Art Museum), Fateh Sagar Lake and Sahelion - Ki - Bari (Garden of maids of honour). Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 10 : Udaipur - Pushkar
After breakfast proceed to Pushkar (275 kms / 7 hrs) and upon arrival visit Pushkar camel fair ground, Pushkar Lake and Brahma Temple. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 11 : Pushkar - Agra
Morning after breakfast proceed to Agra (375 kms / 8 hrs) and upon arrival transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 12 : Agra
After breakfast proceed for the local sight seeing of Agra covering Agra Fort and Taj Mahal. Agra Fort was built between 1565 and 1573 by Emperor Akbar followed by Shah Jahan and Aurangazeb. Taj Mahal is regarded by most modern visitors as the symbol of eternal love is undoubtedly the zenith of Mughal architecture and quite simply one of the world's most marvelous buildings. This World Heritage Monument was built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in 1630 to enshrine the mortal remains of his queen Mumtaz Mahal. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 13 : Agra - Delhi
After breakfast proceed to Delhi (200 kms / 5 hrs) and upon arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 14 : Chennai - Full day free for own activities. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 15 : Depart delhi
After breakfast transfer to the airport to connect flight to your next destination.
